TURN HEAD
"I thought I was circling a truck. But it was the truck circling me."
— Andros Dresamore i

Critical note
by André de Sá Moreira
It spins, again and again, as if the truck's mass imposed its own gravity. Édith Piaf's song, covered by Étienne Daho, reinforces the confusion: "You make me spin my head," murmurs a soft voice, while the body follows an endless circular trajectory. The repetition ends up erasing the distinction between the artist and the object; we no longer know who attracts whom, who orbits around what.
The truck, usually a symbol of transit and function, becomes an immobile totem. The artist, by spinning, pays it an involuntary homage. The music transforms the scene into a false romantic moment: a clumsy waltz, but with a heavy weight.
It is a declaration of love to all that is still.
