TREE
«I am the tree that emerges, the vertical breath of the city.»
— Andros Dresamore i

Critical note
by André de Sá Moreira
A square of earth accommodates an upright body. Arms rise, spread, and freeze. The man becomes a tree, and the missing tree takes on flesh. The city receives a temporary root, a silhouette rooted in the urban void. The performance imposes a radical presence: no metaphor, no symbol, only the immediate growth of a human tree in the public space.
Testimony
« As I walked, I came across a tree right in the middle of the sidewalk. It had the shape of a motionless man, his arms outstretched like branches. For a few moments, the street was transformed.»
